Terms of sale and subscription
1. Seller
Template Preview is operated by Laurent Remond, [Entrepreneur individuel / micro-entreprise], [Adresse postale complète], SIRET [SIRET]. Contact: lrem@live.fr. Hosting: [Hébergeur : nom, adresse, téléphone].
2. Scope
These terms cover (a) the free website preview generated from the customer's description ("Preview"), (b) launching a site from the approved Preview ("Launch"), and (c) the hosting & care subscription ("Subscription"). Placing an order means accepting these terms.
3. Free preview
The Preview is free and without obligation. It is produced automatically with AI tools; its texts, names, prices and photos are samples to be replaced with the customer's own content. One automatic revision is included; further remarks are applied at Launch. Previews that are not ordered are deleted after 12 months.
4. Plans and prices
- Starter: €290 one-time setup, then €19/month or €190/year.
- Pro: €590 one-time setup, then €39/month or €390/year.
- Custom: From €990 one-time setup, then €69/month or €690/year.
Prices in euros. [VAT not applicable — French micro-business, art. 293 B CGI]. The Subscription covers hosting, SSL certificate, backups, security updates, bug fixes and small text or photo edits on request (within a reasonable one hour per month). Yearly plans also include registration and renewal of a standard domain name. Larger requests (new pages, features) are quoted separately.
5. Ordering and payment
Orders are placed online from the Preview page, without an account. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see card details. The setup fee and the first Subscription period are charged at order. The Subscription then renews automatically each month or year and is charged in advance. An invoice is emailed for every payment.
6. Launch
After payment, the customer sends their content (logo, photos, texts) from their private link. The site goes live within about 7 working days of receiving complete content. The customer warrants they hold the rights to all content they send and that it is lawful.
7. Term and cancellation
The Subscription has no minimum term. The customer may cancel at any time by email; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no pro-rata refund. Setup fees are not refundable once the site is live. Service may be suspended for non-payment after a reminder left unanswered for 15 days. Within 30 days of the end of the Subscription, the customer may request an export of their site files and the transfer of their domain name, which remains theirs.
8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
Consumers may withdraw within 14 days of ordering, without giving a reason, by emailing lrem@live.fr. By sending content before that period ends, the customer expressly asks for work to start: withdrawing afterwards, they owe an amount proportional to the work done; once the site is fully launched, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to the setup fee. Refunds are made within 14 days using the original payment method.
9. Intellectual property
Customer content remains the customer's. The site's design and code are assigned to the customer for use on their site once the setup fee is fully paid. Template Preview may cite the site as a reference unless the customer objects.
10. Liability
Template Preview uses reasonable efforts to keep the site available and secure, and is not liable for outages caused by technical providers, force majeure or the customer, nor for customer-supplied content. Liability is capped at the amounts paid by the customer over the last 12 months.
11. Personal data
We process the Preview description, the email if given, uploaded files and order details, to produce the Preview, fulfil the order, invoice and provide support. Descriptions are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the Preview; payments are handled by Stripe. Data is kept for the duration of the relationship, then as required by law (accounting: 10 years). You may access, correct, delete or object to your data by emailing lrem@live.fr, and complain to the CNIL.
12. Disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Consumers may use the consumer mediator free of charge — [Médiateur de la consommation : nom, site web] — or the EU online dispute resolution platform.
