Career change coaching · London
A structured 12-week programme for mid-career professionals ready to change direction — with clarity, a plan, and someone in your corner.
Chapter I — Is this you?
Most of my clients are between 35 and 55, ten to twenty-five years into careers they chose young. They're good at what they do. They just no longer want to do it for the next twenty years.
Chapter II — The programme
Not a personality quiz and a pep talk. A rigorous, compassionate process that moves you from "something has to change" to a tested direction and a concrete next step.
Weeks 1 – 4
We take stock of where you are and what's quietly been driving you.
Weeks 5 – 8
We widen the options, then test them in the real world — cheaply and safely.
Weeks 9 – 12
We choose, and build the bridge from here to there.
Chapter III — Your coach
For fourteen years I worked in corporate law in the City — partner track, good salary, permanent knot in my stomach. At 41 I left to train as a coach, and I've spent the years since helping others make the move I once thought impossible.
"Changing career mid-life isn't starting from zero. It's starting from experience."
I've worked with lawyers becoming teachers, bankers becoming founders, NHS managers moving into tech, and marketers who simply wanted their work to mean something again.
Chapter IV — Turning points
"I came in convinced I was 'just a banker'. Twelve weeks later I had a plan, a mentor in the charity sector and the nerve to use both."
"Eleanor asked the questions my friends were too polite to ask. Exactly what I needed — and never once made me feel foolish."
"The experiments in the middle weeks were the turning point. I tested my idea before risking my mortgage on it."
Chapter V — How we work
A private, light-filled studio a short walk from Farringdon station. Tea, a proper armchair and no screens.
Secure video sessions from wherever you are — ideal if you commute, travel, or prefer your own space.
Or three monthly instalments of £820. Many clients use employer learning budgets — I'm happy to provide an invoice for your company.

Thirty minutes, no obligation, no sales script. You tell me where you are; I'll tell you honestly whether the programme is right for you — and if it isn't, I'll point you somewhere better.
That's where most people start. The first four weeks are designed precisely for that fog.
Please don't. Almost every client completes the programme while still employed — the plan we build includes when and how to leave.
Completely. I follow the ICF Code of Ethics, and nothing you share is ever passed to an employer, even if they're paying.
